Membership in the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA)

VVA is a "home of our own" -- a community of fellowship with people who share your experiences, needs, and hopes for the future. Join Chapter 392 for fellowship, volunteer opportunities, and community service. Be as active as your time, talents, and interests allow. Or simply be a proud member of VVA, knowing that your membership helps VVA work for you and your fellow Vietnam veterans.

The VVA national organization keeps less than half of your membership dues. The rest stays at the state and local level to support programs and services for veterans and their families. Membership includes a subscription to the award-winning newspaper, The VVA Veteran, bringing you updates on issues and legislation affecting veterans, as well as unique articles on the people, places, and history of the Vietnam experience.

Membership in the Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America (AVVA)

If you are someone who would like to become more involved with an organization like VVA but are not eligible to join, you should consider the Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America (AVVA).

Established in 1991, Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America (AVVA) was created by those who wanted to support the goals of the Vietnam Veterans of America. AVVA is a unique organization, pulling together Veterans and people who support their issues into one united group. "Together Always" is the motto of this organization.

Membership

Being a member of AVVA gives you the fellowship in which to accomplish all manner of tasks and programs that support the needs of our Nation's Veterans. Associates of Vietnam Veterans of America members walk the halls of Congress supporting Veteran related legislation, and promote programs and events. You can be a part of that on a local level.

When you join AVVA you join a family that stretches across this country, whose common goal is to help keep this nation's promises to our Veterans.
